TWL Marine has supported the design and execution of many Marine Projects in Papua New Guinea that require a flexible and practical solution to the many obscure challenges that arise.
TWL Marine can supply its own vessels on either time or bare boat charter.
Our Port Moresby based fleet comprises landing craft, offshore support vessel, aluminium catamaran, work boats (<10m), tug and barge.
TWL Marine has an international network from which we can source the right vessel for projects from 3rd party owners and managers.
Integrated Marine Projects
TWL Marine provides tailored logistics support solutions for remote marine or land-based projects that can be serviced by ocean or river transport. We have developed a strong understanding of the Gulf of Papua coastal and riverine waterways through the delivery of remote marine services to major resource developers and development aid partners.
Hydrographic / Geotechnical Surveys
TWL Marine delivers hydrographic surveys in PNG waters in partnership with a leading regional technical partner.
Offshore asset maintenance
TWL Marine has the capability to deliver and support offshore asset maintenance programs. Our private wharf and engineering facility coupled with established technical partners means TWL Marine can deliver offshore asset maintenance services more readily than mobilising international resources.
Marine Construction
TWL Marine has successfully delivered jetty construction and NavAid installation / maintenance works for PNG’s port and maritime authorities.
Our vessel fleet and experienced project team, coupled with our centrally located marine facility means we can configure vessels to project requirement with assistance from trusted local contractors.
Slipway and Engineering
We have 2 x slipways and in-house engineering capability to support the maintenance of our vessels, and the expedient return to service of our vessels if / when an incident occurs in the changing waters of the Gulf of Papua and its river systems. We provide running engineering and wharf services to a global tug operator.
